We have all probably heard happy stories where someone accidentally texted the wrong number and they end up becoming besties with the person they accidentally texted. I know of one story going around Facebook where a college aged kid thinks he is texting his grandmother, but it is another grandmother type person that ends up inviting him to Thanksgiving and now years later they are great friends.
